Semantic Parsing
Semantic parsing is a task in natural language processing that aims to convert natural language expressions into formal meaning representations. These meaning representations can be based on various formal methods, including lambda calculus or Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR) intended to capture the meaning of sentences, as well as task-oriented executable programs such as SQL queries, robot commands, smartphone operations, and general programming language code. The application value of this task lies in achieving efficient interaction between natural language and computer systems.
